Emirates Team New Zealand won the Audi MedCup regatta at Cartagena to maintain its hold on the overall series.
Three races were sailed on the final day and the New Zealanders were 10 points ahead of Argentine entry Matador and 21.5 points ahead of TeamOrigin.
As a result of its win New Zealand is 46.5 points clear of Quantum Racing which is second and 66 points clear of third-placed Matador.
ETNZ took second place in the first race of the day, were disqualified in the second race after a port-starboard incident involving Quantum Racing, and then won the last race of the regatta.
Skipper Dean Barker said: "We sailed much better here than we did in Barcelona. We didn't have any bad races. I think we sailed better in Barcelona than we had done earlier in the year, and today it was really a good day.
"With three races to go anything could have happened and we managed to sail a very good, consistent day.
"Cartagena has been good for me. I've raced here three times now and had three victories, the first one with Bribon."
It was a difficult venue and Barker doubted it could ever be understood.
"There's big currents, a lot happening out there, so you have to take it one day at a time, and see what you figure out."
