New Zealand cycling Joanne Kiesanowski moved to eighth in the World Cup omnium standings after the UCI World Cup in Beijing on Sunday.
She finished with a share of fourth place in Beijing after completing the final three events of the six-discipline omnium.
The move up the standings should enhance her Olympic qualifying bid.
Kiesanowski finished 10th in the pursuit in 3m 45.5s before taking third in the scratch race and eighth in the 500m time trial in 36.964s.
Russian and World Cup leader Evgenia Romanyuta finishing first in the event while Kiesanowski shared fourth with Australian Alison King.
The Kiwi sprinters did not make the medal phase. Southland's Mark Archibald did best with 24th fastest time of 10.44s.
Women's sprinters Natasha Hansen and Katie Schofield were second and fourth respectively in the first round of the keirin with Hansen narrowly beaten in the repechage with only the winner advancing.
Myron Simpson and Westley Gough were 12th in the Madison.
Only one World Cup event remains before the Olympics, and it will be at the London Velodrome as a test even for the games next month.
