Palmer's last golden chance?

Palmer's last golden chance?

07/28/2010 03:25:08 AM

Australian squash legend David Palmer is yet to win gold at the Commonwealth Games, and it might be his final chance to do so when he leads the team to Delhi in October.

The 34-year-old is a five-time medallist at the Games but the gold has eluded the former No.1 and four-time British Open champion.

Palmer is joined in the team by Canberra’s Stewart Boswell, Hobart’s Aaron Frankcomb and New South Wales' Cameron Pilley and Ryan Cuskelly.

The Australian women's team will be lead by world No.9 Kase Brown, alongside New South Wales' Donna Urquhart, far north Queensland's Lisa Camilleri and Victorians Melody Francis and Amelia Pittock.

Of the 10 Australians, six will be making their Commonwealth Games debut.
