The New Zealand women's hockey team have continued their winless streak at the Four Nations tournament, going down 0-2 to Britain.
While they had improved remarkably, two goals in the first half ensured the Kiwi women would have a tough assignment if they were to get back into the game.
While it was a defeat, the nature of the result against a side that was unbeaten throughout the tournament gave New Zealand coach Mark Hager some positives to draw on.
"Defensively we were a lot better today and we looked like the team of old."
Hager had been impressed with the mixture of youth and experience in the side, led by striker Krystal Forgesson.
