Team Sky's Greg Henderson was seventh in the prologue for the Tour de Romandie in Switzerland on Wednesday.

New Zealand's Henderson clocked five minutes 23.41 seconds in the 4.3-kilometres dash in Porrentruy as HTC-Columbia's Marco Pinotti triumphed in 5mins 17.52 ahead of Peter Sagan (Liquigas) and Jeremy Roy (Francaise Des Jeux).

Mark Cavendish (HTC-Columbia), who won the prologue in 2008, was 18th, 8.77secs behind his team-mate.

The 175.6km stage from Porrentruy to Fleurier takes place on Thursday and the race finishes on Sunday in Sion.
