Kevin Plank is eating his own words.
The Under Armour CEO took out a full-page ad in the Baltimore Sun to critique President Donald Trump's travel ban and talk about how Under Armour is an inclusive company.
"In a business interview last week, I answered a question with a choice of words that did not accurately reflect my intent," Plank began his statement.
Plank went on to say how he is proud Under Armour is inclusive company that believes in equal rights, immigration and job creation.
"We are always mindful of the responsibility that we have to those who choose our brand, especially the young people who represent the bold and bright future of a diverse and inclusive America," Plank said.
Plank's advertisement comes a week after he said in a CNBC interview that Donald Trump was an "asset" to the country.
His proclamation sparked outrage from athletes who represent Under Armour, most notably Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry, who essentially called Trump an ass.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and ballerina Misty Copeland also said they disagreed with Plank's statement.
