Warriors too good for Rabbitohs

The ace in the Warriors' deck, Manu Vatuvei, dotted down twice as his side made it two pre-season wins from two with a 22-14 victory over South Sydney at Coffs Harbour on Saturday.
Vatuvei missed the first trial victory over the Gold Coast Titans, playing for the NRL All Stars, and returned to club duty in powerful fashion.
His first four-pointer was a regulation one when he was got on the end of a pinpoint Shaun Johnson grubber, while his second was a beauty from 50 metres down the field.
There were also further tries to captain Simon Mannering and Konrad Hurrell, while the Rabbitohs scored three of their own but were outgunned in the goal-kicking department with a solitary conversion to the Warriors' three.
The first 40 minutes was particularly physical against a Rabbitohs pack that boasted the likes of former Kiwis captain Roy Asotasi, Michael Crocker, Dave Taylor and Eddy Pettybourne.
The Warriors led 6-4 at halftime, with all of those points coming in the first 20 minutes through Mannering and South Sydney's reply to Taylor.
The second half was all the Warriors and before the third quarter was done, they had crossed twice through Hurrell out wide and Vatuvei's double.
The Rabbitohs pegged it back towards the death but all in all it was another worthwhile exercise ahead of the Warriors' NRL opener against the defending premiers Manly on March 4.
They return home on Sunday, resuming training on Tuesday in preparation for the final trial match against Sunshine Coast in Whangarei on Saturday.
