Choc into Stars squad

Manly's international back-rower Anthony Watmough has been given a late call-up for Saturday night's NRL All Stars game as a replacement for injured Sea Eagle Tony Williams.

Williams is unable to take part in the game after picking up a quad strain and now won't take his place in the annual game at Skilled Park.

The giant utility had been managing the injury during Manly’s pre-season schedule but after taking part in the team’s 20-man team photo, Williams failed a medical test and withdrew from the squad.

Despite the injury Williams is expected to be back in time for Manly's World Club Challenge against Super League champions Leeds Rhinos in the UK on February 17.
