Ryan Fox's career in the professional ranks will begin with full status on the 2012 PGA Tour of Australia along with fellow Kiwi Hamish Robertson after both finished in the top 10 at the final stage of qualifying in Melbourne.
Fox, still an amateur but soon to turn pro, and Robertson finished seventh and third respectively at the Peninsula Golf Course.
Robertson shot a final round four-under 68 to climb inside the top 10 while Fox was more consistent with rounds of 70, 71 and 72.
Fox, the 24-year-old Royal Auckland golfer, was the only amateur to progress from qualifying school.
He will turn professional next year, however, and join Robertson in having full status on the Australasian PGA Tour as well as the possibility of a gateway onto the OneAsia Tour.
Pieter Zwart, in 15th place, along with Jared Pender (31st), amateur Kevin Smith (38th), Nick Gillespie (41st), Sven Puymbroeck (42nd) and Peter Spearman-Burn (55th) also gained conditional cards and their starts will correlate to their finish on the leaderboard.
