Toulouse scored its fourth consecutive win in Ligue 1 action Saturday with a 2-0 victory over Nancy at Stade Marcel Picot.

Etienne Capoue opened the scoring for the visitors on 68 minutes before Franck Tabanou sealed the win in the 90th minute to send Toulouse to the top of the table.

Dimitri Payet scored a hat-trick in Saint Etienne's 3-1 win over Lens at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard.

The French winger scored in the 5th, 79th and 85th minutes, before Issam Jemaa pulled-back a late consolation goal for Lens and Etienne's Sylvain Marchal was sent off in second-half injury time.

Montpellier secured a valuable three points away to Valenciennes, winning 1-0 and jumping into third place on the Ligue 1 table.

Lorient defeated Lyon 2-0 at the Stade du Moustoir, courtesy of a Kevin Gameiro penalty on eight minutes, and a Lynel Kitambala strike in the 66th minute.

Rennes won 1-0 away to Arles-Avignon, with Victor Hugo Montano scoring the only goal on 28 minutes at the Parc des Sports.
