Elsewhere in the Eastern Conference, Brandon Jennings hit a pair of free throws to seal the Milwaukee Bucks' fourth straight win, a hard-fought 95-90 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Jamal Crawford scored 25 points as the Atlanta Hawks beat the Toronto Raptors 107-101 to reach 50 wins for the first time in 12 years.

The Indiana Pacers were too strong for a Cavaliers side missing LeBron James, Antawn Jamison, Mo Williams and Shaquille O'Neal in Cleveland, winning 116-113.

Andray Blatche had 31 points as the Washington Wizards opened a 28-point first-half lead which paved the way for the 106-96 win over the Boston Celtics, while the New Jersey Nets prevented the Chicago Bulls taking over the final play-off spot with a 127-116 victory.

The Orlando Magic coasted past the New York Knicks 118-103, with Dwight Howard and Vince Carter each scoring 25 points for the three-point specialists, while the Houston Rockets recorded their third successive win by seeing off the Charlotte Bobcats 97-90.

Pau Gasol scored 29 points as the Los Angeles Lakers locked up home court throughout the Western Conference play-offs with a 97-88 success against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Durant scored 35 points and rookie reserve Serge Ibaka hit a crucial basket in the final minute for the Oklahoma City Thunder, 96-91 conquerors of the Phoenix Suns.

Zach Randolph's 28 points were the highlight of the Memphis Grizzlies' 107-99 defeat of the San Antonio Spurs.

Deron Williams poured in 27 as the Utah Jazz saw off the New Orleans Hornets 114-103, while a 25-18 final quarter set up the Dallas Mavericks for an 83-77 win at the expense of the Portland Timberwolves.
