Jason Kidd had 20 points and nine assists as the Dallas Mavericks made it 13 wins out of 13 by beating the woeful New Jersey Nets 96-87.

The victory sees Dallas match the longest winning streak of the season, set by Cleveland in January and February.

The New York Knicks have slumped to a ninth consecutive losing season, setting a new franchise record, after losing 97-87 to the San Antonio Spurs.

Manu Ginobili's 28 points made the difference.

Dwyane Wade had 27 points to keep Miami's playoff push on course as they beat the Los Angeles Clippers 108-97.

Jermaine O'Neal added 19 points and nine rebounds as the Heat recorded a fourth consecutive home win.

Rudy Gay's 28 points led the Memphis Grizzlies to a 111-91 upset of the Boston Celtics, giving the Grizzlies a first win over the Celtics in seven attempts since 2006.

Ray Allan and Rajon Rondo scored 17 points each but could not prevent Boston's worst loss of the season.

Gerald Wallace scored 28 points and Stephen Jackson added 24 points and 10 rebounds as the Charlotte Bobcats blew past the Philadelphia 76ers 102-87 for their fourth straight win, further boosting their play-off push.

The Bobcats have never reached the post-season in six seasons, but are now in seventh-place in the Eastern Conference race.

Tyreke Evans' first career triple-double led the Sacramento Kings to a 113-90 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Evans collected 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists as the Kings snapped a three-game losing streak.

Deron Williams collected 18 points and 12 assists to lead the Utah Jazz to a 115-104 victory over the Detroit Pistons.

Former Pistons centre Mehmet Okur had 18 points to condemn his former team to a seventh defeat in eight games.

The Oklahoma City Thunder got 29 points from Kevin Durant as they beat up on the injury-hit New Orleans Hornets in a 98-84 win.

The Hornets saw Peja Stojakovic join All-Star Chris Paul on the injured list before the game and were never really in it during the second half.

Chauncey Billups' 25 points lifted the Denver Nuggets to a 110-102 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
