Cowboys' Elliott unhurt in minor car crash

Ezekiel Elliott joked he has "been in bigger collisions" after the Dallas Cowboys running back was involved in a minor car crash.

The Dallas Cowboys had a bit of a scare on Wednesday when star running back Ezekiel Elliott was unhurt in a minor car accident.

The incident occurred near the Cowboys' practice facility in Frisco at 07:30 (local time).

Elliott took to Twitter to joke about the crash a couple of hours after the accident, posting: "I'm good. I've been in bigger collisions. Lol."

While at Ohio State, Elliott was involved in an accident in December 2015 in Columbus and was also was cited for speeding in June 2014.


After the 2015 crash, he paid a fine and a series of misdemeanour charges were dismissed. The speeding case was dismissed after he completed a diversion program.

The Cowboys host the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Divisional round of the playoffs on Sunday.
